Shoreham is a moody, grounded retreat tucked quietly among native trees. A matte black exterior anchors the home in its landscape, while inside, warm cork floors soften every step. Saturated green walls flow throughout the house, creating a rich grounding feeling.

This light-filled, architecturally striking home was designed full of style. Designed with family functionality at its core, this unique residence blends contemporary design with sustainable sensibilities, resulting in a home that’s both beautiful and mindful.

The seamless glass link hallway connects indoor and outdoor living, while cork flooring adds warmth and continuity throughout. At the heart of the home, a thoughtfully designed kitchen combines navy matte finishes with a porcelain benchtop, balancing rustic charm and modern edge. Recycled timber and restored furnishings—like the handcrafted bench seat from an old dining table—add soulful touches, grounding the home in its natural surroundings.

Built to reflect the homeowner’s values of sustainability and simplicity, this bespoke home proves that eco-friendly living can also be effortlessly stylish.

Batten & Board

Set within a serene coastal landscape, this batten and board timber residence by Peninsula Eco Constructions embodies contemporary coastal living.


Warm architectural lines and the honest use of natural materials create a refined yet raw expression, allowing the home to sit quietly amongst the surrounding swamp gums, deeply connected to its environment.

Clad in warm Batten & Board timber, the exterior blends seamlessly with the coastal landscape, with the interiors of the natural Tasmanian Oak floors creating a sense of warmth throughout. Wrapped in warm Blackbutt timber cladding, the exterior makes a bold statement while harmonising with the surrounding landscape. Inside, oak flooring brings an understated elegance, flowing effortlessly through expansive, light-filled living spaces. Porcelain benchtops add a touch of refined luxury to the modern kitchen, marrying durability with minimalist design.

PROJECT 5

Cottage

What was once a modest white two-bedroom cottage has been beautifully reimagined by Peninsula Eco Constructions into a spacious, character-filled home that effortlessly balances charm with functionality.


Now boasting three bedrooms and two living areas, the newly added weatherboard extension flows seamlessly from the original structure, retaining its classic cottage appeal while introducing generous, light-filled spaces. Pitched roofs enhance the sense of volume, and elegant travertine French pattern flooring adds timeless texture underfoot

The striking teal kitchen, finished with recycled timber benchtops, forms the vibrant heart of the home—combining sustainability with bold, contemporary style. A standout feature of the renovation is the original clawfoot bath, lovingly restored and showcased in the expansive new master ensuite, blending heritage character with modern luxury.
